A traditional dining room featuring comfortable furniture, a reading lounge and warm color tones, the corporation’s Z-Bistro has transitioned toward healthier and seasonal offerings, including fresh local ingredients and herbs grown in its own backyard garden. In an effort to be more sustainable, Zappos implemented a number of initiatives aimed at reducing waste and water consumption. For meals to go, Z-Bistro provides 100% compostable utensils, cups, plates and bowls. It has also reduced waste by going trayless and investing in single-use napkin dispensers and bulk condiment dispensers.
