Touting scratch cooking with an accent on fine ingredients culled from natural herbs and spices, Sunrise Senior Living’s highly trained chefs talk with residents to learn what menu items they seek—all part of their aim to create restaurant-style dining experiences. Each year, Sunrise hosts the “Senior Eats Nutritional Challenge,” through which chefs submit original, healthy recipes and a winning dish is chosen by a panel of residents. The winning dish may then become a new addition to community menus.
