In January, the Department of Dining Services held its 20th annual Culinary Olympics, during which its chefs flashed their culinary skills. The first event was a recipe contest, with the winner determined by a team of four judges. As part of the Boiling Point competition, teams of chefs representing different campus dining halls were presented with a mystery box of ingredients. Using miscellaneous items from their pantry, chefs were tasked with preparing three different tapas (small food or appetizers) on each plate. Teams had 75 minutes to prepare dishes, presided over by four judges.
