Early this year, Notre Dame debuted a campus dining initiative dubbed Casual Catering, through which customers can order food from on-premise Au Bon Pain, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, Modern Market or Star Ginger for groups ranging from five to 25 people. As part of its sustainability efforts, the university last year unveiled a new food waste system to reduce nonconsumable food waste on campus by more than 2,000 pounds per day while contributing to the clean energy needs of a local farm.
