Serving 232,000 meals a year, Hillsborough County Student Nutrition Services continues to scout for candidates to join its Student Nutrition Services Substitute team of cafeteria workers—seeking dependable people to work five-, six- or seven-hour shifts and receive specialized training and instructions from the school nutrition team. During National School Lunch Week in October, physical education students were busy participating in food demonstrations in Hillsborough County school kitchens.
