Last year, Gwinnett County’s school nutrition team launched its own social media platform independent of the district’s. Its Facebook account is designed to communicate with parents, teachers and the community, while its @CafeGwinnett Instagram account, designed for students, has generated more than 1,800 followers since its launch. On Instagram, students can direct message staff to ask questions about menus and request new selections.
