In summer 2018, Capital One headquarters unveiled a second cafe, M2, that rolls breakfast, smoothie, grilled items, ice cream, coffee and adult beverages into one footprint, which shifts gears based on the daypart. Managed by Restaurant Associates and overseen by Executive Chef Bill Downes, M2 has nine stations featuring a variety of cuisines, kiosk-based ordering and self-checkout technology. The market-style cafe also features stations such as Hearth, which features customizable Mediterranean bowls, and StrEATs, with street food from around the world.
