To further personalize the guest experience, Methodist University Hospital in 2019 launched its Food Service Concierge Program. As part of the program, a team member meets one-on-one with patients to explain the meal process, follows up on any concerns and supports patients throughout their stay. In its retail area, the hospital rolled out new branded concepts, such as Liberty Street BBQ, which features meats smoked daily on-site, and the Lobster Shack. It also introduced Nourish, an online ordering app.
