Students, staff and community members at the Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech), in Melbourne, won’t need a passport to experience the flavors of the world—they can just attend one of the eight International Dining Series events put on by Campus Dining Services throughout the academic year.

A big yabba dabba to-do at Caltech

In an outdoor event this past spring, the dining services team at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), in Pasadena, paid homage to the classic cartoon, “The Flintstones,” in a celebration fit for a caveman.

On Nov. 11, nearly 40 residents of Oakwood Common will be honored at a special breakfast to commemorate Veterans Day.

To help persuade residents to try a new menu item, we will sometimes add it as a third entrée option, like our Pork Pagoda (pictured).

We just got a grant that will be for 1- to 5-year-olds so that we can work with the county health department to do some outreach at area supermarkets to help them market their healthier items.
