A Place for Mom, a referral service to help families find senior-living communities that best fit their needs, has announced 138 Best Meal and Dining Award Winners of 2022. The winners are based on reviews from residents in independent living, assisted living and memory care.
RosePointe Senior Living in Roseville, Minn., managed by Cura Hospitality, was a recipient this year. The Cura dining team, led by Executive Chef Peter Rowe and Unit Manager Gina Dee, was recognized for excellence in foodservice, nutritious meals and overall dining satisfaction.
RosePointe resident Kathy Huffman offered a personal review, saying “My husband and I enjoy eating in the dining room for many reasons. The food is nutritious, hot and great tasting, friendly servers and it is a place to get to know our neighbors. We are grateful for all of their great work.”

During the month of December, RosePointe’s holiday lunch and dinner menus feature a specialty meal of the day in addition to standard selections.
The other senior-living award winners spanned the U.S., from Pennsylvania to Florida, Virginia to California, and many points in between. To make the list, the communities had to earn a rating of at least 4.5 stars out of 5 in the reviews.
A resident at Paul Spring Community in Alexandria, Va., who rated that dining program 5 stars, said in a testimonial that “the food is always delightful and the service is excellent! Taste of RUI [a restaurant-style dining room] showcased live cooking demonstrations from countries across the world by the executive chef ...”
A Place for Mom also gives out annual awards in more general categories, including Best Assisted Living, Best Independent Living, Best Memory Care and Top Senior-Living Community.
