Patients at Riverside Doctors’ Hospital in Williamsburg, Va., will now be able to order meals via a new app, The Virginia Gazette reports.

App users can order meals from their phone or tablet anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Patients and caregivers will also be able to track their nutrients in the app throughout the day.

As operations emerge from the pandemic, many are turning to apps and other technology to improve the diner experience and day-to-day operations. Bon Appetit, for example, has launched Waste Not, an app that allows staff to track food waste in the kitchen.
