School hosts summer produce markets for families

Families are able to receive more than $35 worth of food at the markets.

Buckeye Community School in Marion, Ohio, is hosting free drive-thru produce markets for families as part of its summer feeding program, Marion Star reports

The school partnered with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective and Marion City Schools to put on the markets. Families are able to receive at least $35 worth of food, including a variety of produce such as apples, potatoes and watermelons.

Around 250 families have participated in the markets so far.
