In the search for something new that will entice high school students, Broken Arrow School District in Oklahoma is trying chicken and waffles, served once a week from the campus new food truck, reports tulsaworld.com.
In addition to serving different dishes daily—including Asian food and a variety of tacos—the food truck also serves breakfast and is used as a summer feeding site.
Officials say the truck, called The Curbside Café, is an alternative to having lunch in the cafeteria.
"We will serve a variety until we find out what they like," ABSD’s nutrition director Lou Ann Goodacre told
