Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Mich., is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal for those in the community who will be spending the holiday alone or cannot afford a meal, M Live reports.
The meal will be held in-person at the hospital’s cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In response to Covid-19, the hospital is limiting the number of guests and could switch the meal to a to-go format if case numbers get too high.
As the holidays approach, operators throughout the country are planning events to celebrate the season with diners. For example, Chartwells Higher Ed is hosting a Friendsgiving meal next month at each of the 300 colleges it serves.
