Students from Beverly Elementary are making the connection between growing and eating food.
Students planted a small crop of lettuce in their garden behind the school. Davis Medical Center staff helped wash and prepare the lettuce while touring its nutrition services department.
Students created their own salad lunch using their lettuce and other fresh items from the salad bar.
