Aramark responds to rotten food complaints

ST JOHN'S, Canada — Aramark says it is reacting "immediately" to concerns of students.

The company at the centre of the food fight at MUN's St. John's campus passed a provincial food safety inspection last week, despite complaints of rotten, and raw food that sent some to hospital.

In a weekend post to the MUN Dining Facebook page, the company thanked customers for their candour, feedback and recommendations.

The company says its nutritionist, managers, and chefs will have more of a presence at the Main Dining Hall to answer questions.
