Despite the overwhelming challenges healthcare operators have faced in the past year, they have persevered to provide for patients, residents and diners in their greater communities. While 5% of operators who responded to a recent FoodService Director survey said they haven’t been experiencing obstacles related to COVID-19, many aired struggles with low census counts, product procurement and staffing. What we learned


This data compiled by FoodService Director comes from information provided by 179 survey respondents during March and April of 2021. The percentages included throughout are taken from the total number of respondents who answered that particular question. Percentages may not add up to 100% due to rounding or multiple responses being selected.
