Foodservice giant Sodexo plans to acquire A.H. Management, a “convenience solutions” business based in the Midwest.

This move aims to expand the offerings of Sodexo's InReach arm, which is largely focused on grab-and-go foods. A.H. specializes in corporate dining amenities, such as micro-markets, vending machines and coffee service.

“The acquisition of A.H. Management is the next step in enhancing Sodexo’s multimarket convenience solution, InReach, in North America,” Sarosh Mistry, CEO of Sodexo North America, said in a statement. “It will help us complement our current solutions and further address ever-evolving clients’ and consumers’ expectations to deliver on our ambition to become the leader in sustainable food and valued experiences.”

In recent years, Sodexo has also acquired Frontline Food Services, a company offering similar services to A.H. but based in Texas; restaurant aggregator Foodee and commissary kitchen platform Nourish as part of its efforts to address what consumers and operators want in the era of hybrid office work.

The A.H. deal is expected to close “in the coming months.”
