The Ohio State University's James Cancer Hospital has introduced a Mobile Education Kitchen to help bring healthy cooking demos and meals to communities in central Ohio.

Operated by the nutrition team at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, the mobile kitchen, which is set up like a food truck, travels to different events in the area, offering cooking demonstrations, food samples and nutrition information to guests.

Ohio State's dietetic students can also work at the kitchen as part of their internship.

The mobile kitchen was funded through a $500,000 gift raised during the hospital’s main fundraising event.
