Harrisonburg City Public School District in Harrisonburg, Va., is debuting a mobile cafe to expand its summer meal program, WHSV reports.
While the district has been serving summer lunches on-site at schools for the past several years, school officials say that some students had a hard time making it to the meal sites. Housed in a bus, the mobile cafe will visit four neighborhoods in the district. During the school year, it will be used for small nutrition classes and taste testings for students.
