In an effort to help students get to summer feeding sites, District of Columbia Public Schools in Washington, D.C., has partnered with Uber to offer district families free rides.
Families that sign up will be provided with vouchers to cover the cost of rides to and from eight meal sites located throughout the district. The vouchers are good for round trips up to $40, with a ceiling of six trips per individual.
Vouchers can be used from now until Aug. 27.
