Compass Group will take on management of dining services at Five Star Senior Living as part of a partnership between the two companies announced late last week.
Responsibility for foodservice across Five Star communities will transition to Compass Community Living, a branch of Compass Group, starting in February 2022. The changeover is set to be completed by the end of that year.
“After carefully evaluating options for our dining services, we are excited to partner with Compass Community Living to provide fresh, nutritious, made-from-scratch cuisine for our residents,” Katherine Potter, Five Star CEO, said in a statement.
Five Star operates senior-living communities in 27 states.
