Metz Culinary Management is serving a variety of spooky-themed dishes this month in honor of Halloween.

K-12 students will get to enjoy menu items such as Corn on the Cobweb, Spider Cider and Scream of Tomb-ato Soup.

Diners in the higher education, corporate, senior living and healthcare segments will also be treated to themed dishes, including Graveyard Shepard’s Pie, Deviled Egg Tombs and Day of the Dead Skull Cakes.

“This is a great time to dig up seasonal recipes and frightful foods for students, staff and teachers to enjoy,” said Maureen Metz, executive vice president for Metz, in a statement. “Last year our pumpkin with guacamole vomit was a huge hit with our guests, so we’re going even bigger with menu suggestions this year.”

The menu items will be available during the week leading into the holiday.
