University’s new saute station proves popular with students

Stevenson University in Stevenson, Md., added a saute station to one of its dining halls this semester, which has been met with high demand, The Villager reports.

At the station, students can use burners to saute a mix of ingredients such as peppers, mushrooms, beef and tofu in a variety of sauces and seasonings. A chef is nearby to help students if needed.

The station originally started out with four burners, and two more have been added due to its popularity. In the future, staff hope to make menus for food preparation and would like to include more options for vegans and vegetarians.
