COVID-19 has altered consumers’ behavior like never before. Here’s how diners say things have shifted for them due to the pandemic.

I’m preparing meals at home more often:

  • Overall: 63%
  • Gen Z: 65%
  • Millennials: 68%
  • Gen X: 59%
  • Baby Boomers: 60%

I’m snacking more often:

  • Overall: 27%
  • Gen Z: 37%
  • Millennials: 31%
  • Gen X: 25%

I’m ordering takeout more often:

  • Overall: 20%
  • Gen Z: 22%
  • Millennials: 20%
  • Gen X: 24%

I’m not ordering from restaurants at all, including dine-in service, takeout and delivery:

I’m ordering food and beverages from restaurants less often than usual:
