Culinary students at Louisa County Schools in Mineral, Va., have stepped in to help the nutrition team with supply chain issues, 6 News Richmond reports.
When the district’s foodservice director announced that the team had run out of hamburger buns due to procurement challenges, the culinary students and their instructor decided to bake their own hamburger buns.
The students have been able to provide over 1,200 buns each week.
