Operators are getting creative when it comes to bowls, serving up a variety of dishes that satisfy all meal parts. Here are four bowls on the menu at noncommercial operations.

1. Cuban chicken rice bowl
Students at Madison Metropolitan School District in Madison, Wis., were recently introduced to new lunch options when Uproot, the district’s food truck, made its debut in April. One of the new items is a Cuban chicken rice bowl that includes garlic-lime chicken with local sweet potatoes and black beans.
4. Frida Kale
Consumers at Cleveland Clinic can now grab a meal at chef Jose Andres’ concept Beefsteak, which opened at the Cleveland hospital last month. It’s Frida Kale bowl includes rice, kale, sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, black bean and spicy tomato sauce, scallions, corn nuts, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and lemon-honey dressing.
