We host a Red Hot Chef competition where we invite school departments to take over the kitchen and prepare a dinner for the school, which is voted on by the members of the school. During the competition, participants get to wear red chef coats, and my team works hand in hand with them to help plan and execute the menu. At the end, I present the Golden Whisk award to the winner. It’s a great way to integrate departments into dining services, and students get very excited about it!
