To kick off our Idaho Potato promotion, we had contests in 82 of our locations for the best-dressed potato, in which our customers dressed up a potato in some theme. Some of the entries were a beach bum, a scarecrow and a fairy. We gave out prizes to the winners, and it created momentum for a three-month promotion to increase sales.
