Oct. 17—Saint Mary’s Health Care, in Grand Rapids, Mich., is encouraging employees and visitors to eat healthy by targeting their wallets.
Diners who choose low-fat, low-calorie items—instead of the popular high-calorie foods—are rewarded with a lower price.
The result has been a boost in sales of healthy food and a drop in the not-so-healthy items, said Sheryl Lozicki, director of nutrition and wellness for Saint Mary’s and Advantage Health Physicians Network.
