California students taste test school breakfast and lunch items

Corona-Norco Unified School District's fourth- to sixth- graders gave their input during a taste test last week.

Nov. 13—The turkey dog would have gotten an A. The enchilada maybe a C. Don’t ask about the burrito.

The fifth-grader participated in a taste test to help Corona-Norco Unified School District officials spice up their breakfast and lunch menus.

During the day, groups of students shuffled through a back room of the Child Nutrition Services building in Corona. They tasted menu items from 12 vendors.
