Aloha Calzone

This calzone takes a tropical turn with the addition of mango. Jalapeño bacon adds a spicy kick.


1 Rich ' s Fresh n ' Ready Pizza Crust
5-8 tsp. pizza sauce

3/4 tsp. shredded mozarella 
1/8 oz. Layout® bacon jalapeno
3/4 tsp. mango, unripe 
1 egg, large



  1. Cook bacon until fully cooked and an internal temp of 155 degrees.
  2. Remove bacon from pan, leaving the grease. Add the mango to the bacon fast and cook for about 5 mins until mango is softened.
  3. Crack and scramble egg in a bowl. Set aside.
  4. Spread pizza dough out on a clean surface.
  5. Place sauce on pizza dough, then top with mozzarella cheese. Top with diced bacon and mango.
  6. Fold pizza dough in half, tucking the open edges under.
  7. Brush the top of the crust with egg wash.
  8. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  9. Bake calzone in oven for approximately 12 minutes or until pizza crust is fully baked and golden brown.
