Jamba Juice to use roadshows to sell eastern franchises

Jamba Juice is aiming to sell more franchises along the Eastern Seaboard and in Florida by holding a series of roadshows next month.

The dog-and-ponies, dubbed the Whirl’d Across America Roadshows, are scheduled for early December in Philadelphia, the greater Washington, D.C., area and Miami.

They will follow meetings in New Jersey next month.

Jamba has set a goal of adding 500 restaurants by 2019 to its current roster of about 807 units, 601 of which are franchised. The company has been aggressively refranchising stores.
