Westminster-Canterbury On Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach, Va., had celebrity chef Jet Tila host a virtual cooking class for residents, Yahoo News reports.
The cooking class was hosted over Zoom, and residents learned how to make chicken teriyaki. Chef Tila has hosted in-person cooking classes at Westminster-Canterbury in the past.
Virtual cooking classes and demonstrations have been a popular way for senior-living operators to safely engage with residents during the pandemic.
