Hospital doctor and dietitian team up with local chef to host a virtual plant-based cooking demo

An endocrinologist and a dietician from Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, Ill., are partnering with a local catering chef to host a virtual cooking demo, The Daily Herald reports

During Culinary Love: Cooking for You and the Planet, Dr. Disha Narang and dietitian Monica Joyce will explain the benefits of eating a plant-based diet. Afterwards, chef Catherine O'Meara of Heller Catering will conduct a demo of a plant-based recipe. 

The virtual program is a part of a livestream series that local nonprofit Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods is hosting about critical environmental issues.
