Ashland City Schools in Ashland, Ohio, is partnering with No Child Goes Hungry to help alleviate student meal debt, Ashland Source reports.
The fund established by a school parent will donate $5,000 to eliminate meal debt throughout the district. Ashland City Schools is also working with the charity to set up an endowed fund that would go to students who can’t pay for school meals. Money from the fund would be split between each school in the district.
