Sodexo this week named David Newman the CEO of its K-12 arm, Sodexo at School, in the U.S.

Newman most recently served as Sodexo’s global senior vice president of corporate finance and began taking over as chief executive of Sodexo at School in April.

Stephen Dunmore, the previous CEO, will stay on through August as an advisor during the transition, according to a press release.

“As we double down on pursuing our ambitious growth goals, we’re thrilled to have David helm the Sodexo At School segment,” Sarosh Mistry, CEO of Sodexo North America, said in the release. “He has an outstanding track record in business development. With his leadership and capabilities as well as the talents and engagement of the Sodexo At School team, I am confident we will be successful in accelerating our growth in the U.S.”
