Students at the University of Nevada’s Reno campus have some new dining features waiting for them this fall.

The schools’ dining program, which is run by Chartwells Higher Ed, has added early morning and late-night options, expanding its operating hours by 43%.

Based on student feedback, three campus restaurants and three vending units will have breakfast available by 7:30 a.m., and three venues will stay open until 11 p.m.

In addition, a variety of grab-and-go offerings will now be prepared onsite, coinciding with the launch of dining concept Grab Goodness earlier this week. Students can access these fresh items via new vending units located in three different spots on campus, as well as in campus restaurants.

“We’re inspired by the passion our students and campus community have for the university’s dining program,” Gabe Lewis, resident district manager for Chartwells, said in a statement. “They spoke, we listened, and we’ve made upgrades, big and small, that we think will create a much-improved dining experience for students.”

Nevada Dining also added a catering program tailored to celebrations held by campus groups, ranging from birthday parties to more formalized events.
