The University of Maryland has debuted Testudo’s Kosher Korner, a new kosher stand housed in the campus’s basketball arena, the Xfinity Center, reports jewishbusinessnews.com.
The new stand is the first of its kind at any sports venue on the campus and features menu items such as vegan falafel in a pita and kosher turkey, pastrami and corned-beef sandwiches. It caters to one of the largest Jewish student populations in the nation, officials say.
