Redbank Valley School District in New Bethlehem, Pa., will serve a holiday meal free of charge to all students on their last day before break, The Leader-Vindicator reports.

The idea came from the district’s cafeteria manager, who says he wanted to make sure that every student gets a chance to enjoy a holiday meal, regardless of their family’s financial background.

The meal will be served at all schools in the district and will include roasted sweet potatoes, ham applesauce, green beans, Hawaiian rolls and a cookie. Elementary students will also have the option to have noodles in broth.
