Bangor Area School District officials are aiming to boost cafeteria sales by revamping its menu to feature made-from-scratch dishes, reports wfmz.com.
The menu changes—which include a switch to made-from-scratch pizza—will start next month and seek to especially impact high school students, where officials say participation has seen the biggest decline.
The Bangor, Penn.-based district has served upwards up 25,000 fewer meals in comparison to last school year, a decline of about 133 meals per day, according to the website.
