The West Virginia chapter of the School Nutrition Association has named Teresa Baker child nutrition director of the year, reports The Register-Herald.
The award recognizes the contributions of school nutrition directors who oversee fiscally intact school meal programs and provide healthy meals to students, according to the SNA chapter.
Baker—director of child nutrition at Raleigh County Schools in Beckley, W.V.—will be honored at the SNA’s annual conference in Texas in July, and will be considered for the national director of the year award.
“This is the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done,” Baker told the website. “I love what I do.”
