Celebrity Chef Carla Hall visited Knoxville Elementary School in Knoxville, Tenn., to celebrate the school’s foodservice team, WATE reports.
Hall helped prepare a special meal for the foodservice team as a thank you for all their hard work. She also taught them how to make her biscuit recipe.
As part of the celebration, students also prepared thank you cards for the nutrition team and Hall led students through different activities such as a dance party.
Earlier this month, Will C Wood High School in Vacaville, Calif., also partnered with a celebrity chef for a special event. Top Chef contestant Tu David Phu worked with the nutrition team to prepare a variety of Vietnamese and Korean dishes for students for a week during lunch.
