In order to get buy-in for breakfast in the classroom, there is an incredible amount of planning done with stakeholders to ensure that we can show the value for this and to get their thoughts and see if we’ve missed anything. We did a potential problem analysis at each site where we brought all the stakeholders together at each school (principals, teachers, custodians, kitchen staff) and sat around the table. We asked things like what needs to happen at your school in order for this to take place and what could go wrong. It was incredibly time consuming, but it worked.
