Fans of both the Houston Texans and Houston rapper Bun B are likely in for a treat this NFL season.

Trill Burgers, a concept co-owned by Bun B, is setting up shop in four concession locations during football games at Houston’s NRG Stadium. The smashburger brand began as a pop-up in summer 2021, and has since fed attendees of concerts, music festivals and sporting events.

In 2022, its OG Burger was named the best burger in the country by TV show “Good Morning America.”

“We’re very excited to be at NRG Stadium for every home game to serve Trill Burgers and watch our Texans play to victory,” Bun B said in a statement.

Trill Burgers teamed up with Aramark Sports + Entertainment for its upcoming presence in NRG Stadium. One of its four concessions will showcase self-checkout, while another will offer Zippin’s checkout-free technology.

Tech aimed to speed throughput and reduce lines has been popping up in all kinds of sports venues, with several stadiums debuting Amazon’s Just Walk Out platform or similar systems this spring.
