Sodexo plans to garner real-time feedback from college students across the country this fall with a new student insights program.

Named The Quad Squad, the six-month initiative will use surveys, push polls, interviews and mobile diaries to get immediate feedback from students about their dining experience on campus. Students’ input will be available in a matter of hours after being submitted, allowing Sodexo to quickly use that data in its decision making.

The foodservice company hopes the program will allow it to find out more about students’ opinions on things like breakfast and plant-based items as well as how dining services influences their on-campus experience.

The Quad Squad will be available to 250 U.S. college students, including those on campuses where dining services is self-operated or operated by non-Sodexo partners.

“We know that a sense of belonging is critical to the student experience, and dining is integral to building that. With The Quad Squad, our campus partners will gain immediate access to student insights that foster student engagement and wellbeing, ultimately giving students the food they want, delivered how they want it,” said Victoria Ng, director of market research for Sodexo Campus, in a statement. “Together with our partners, we will deliver the on-campus experiences that students want.”
