The University of Notre Dame has selected Levy Restaurants to handle concessions at its campus sports venues.
Levy, a Chicago-based sports concessionaire, will replace Centerplate Inc. in providing foodservices at Notre Dame Stadium, Compton Family Ice Arena and the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center, among others.
The new partnership will develop the university’s culinary voice across its athletic venues, according to a news release, adding that Levy will infuse local flavors into the concessions at each venue, while continuing to offer stadium favorites as well.
“In designing a culinary program for one of the country’s cornerstone athletic brands, we are excited to deliver a hospitality experience that builds on instilled traditions and creates memories for the many generations of fans and guests,” said Andy Lansing, CEO of Levy Restaurants, in the release.
