Students at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling Colo. have a new dining spot to hang out on campus.

The school’s foodservice provider Aladdin Campus Dining recently celebrated the grand reopening of Pete’s Retreat, a café that serves a selection of coffee beverages along with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

As part of the renovation, the dining team partnered with local coffee roaster Memoria Roasters for the cafe's coffee program. It is currently the only location in Sterling that offers Memoria Roasters coffee beverages.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be the first retail dining venue in Sterling to offer freshly brewed cups of hand-crafted Memoria Roasters coffee beverages, produced locally with zero preservatives and artificial flavorings!  Memoria Roasters is the perfect companion to Aladdin’s menu items, prepared fresh with local ingredients,” Aladdin Campus Dining Food Service Director Staci Marx said in a statement.

The new and improved space now holds seating for 50 and features ping pong, foosball and pool tables for diners to enjoy. Students are able to purchase things from the cafe using flex dollars provided with their meal plan.

Northeastern celebrated the café’s reopening earlier this month with a party that included complimentary samples, gifts and more.
