Amazon’s Alexa device is entering the healthcare sector.

Hospital and senior-living operators will be able to integrate the device into their operations to help provide care to residents and patients.

These particular devices, part of Amazon Smart Properties, are designed specifically for the needs of healthcare and senior-living communities and will allow users to send and receive calls, read and listen to the day’s dining menu, and more.

Boston Children’s Hospital, Atria Senior Living, Cedars-Sinai, BayCare and Houston Methodist have all signed on to implement Alexa at their facilities.
