These carnitas are filled with flavor and can be used as burrito filling, salad topping or in sandwiches.
15 lb. pork shoulder butt, cut into 3/4-in. cubes
1/4 cup vegetable oil
6 cups orange juice
6 cups cola
3 cups Kikkoman Lime Ponzu Citrus Seasoned Dressing & Sauce
- Brown pork in oil on all sides. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, about 40 minutes, or until pork is tender.
- Cook uncovered, until liquid evaporates and pork begins to brown again, being careful not to let burn.
- Chop 1/2 cup pork per serving and serve with warm corn tortillas, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo salsa and lime wedges.
